MAJID AL FUTTAIM Retail loyalty digital card terms and conditions
Article 1 – Subject Matter
Carrefour MyCLUB is a loyalty program operated by MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C, a limited liability company incorporated and existing under the federal laws of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan, and the local laws and regulations of Jordan, registered under trade license no. 8309, having its address at P.O.Box 3836/ 11821, Amman, Hashemite kingdom of Jordan. MyCLUB loyalty program is applicable in all Carrefour, Carrefour Market stores and Carrefour Web store www.carrefourjordan.com in the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan.
Article 2 – Terms and conditions acceptance
The use of the MyCLUB loyalty digital card signifies the unconditional acceptance of the following terms and conditions that the subscriber acknowledges having read and accepted at the time of MyCLUB’s registration.
Article 3 – Membership
MyCLUB loyalty digital card is free of charge at downloading the app and can be used at all Carrefour hypermarkets and Carrefour Markets in the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan for persons who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law (18 years and above). It is strictly one loyalty account number per household (same address), no merging between two accounts. The subscriber will be issued with digital card through Carrefour mobile App or Carrefour website.
To join Carrefour MyCLUB, the subscriber must be registered on Carrefour website through Myclub page www.carrefourjordan.com/myclub or through the Mobile application.
MyCLUB loyalty digital card cannot be used for any purposes other than those provided for in these terms and conditions. The loyalty digital card may not be transferred or used by anyone other than its subscriber and members of the household, for any reason.
Article 4 – Earning
MyCLUB loyalty digital card allows its digital cardholder to earn points: (1) point for every 1JOD spent in or predefined points as per campaigns advertised and when making qualifying purchases at Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores in the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan.
In order to collect points, the loyalty digital card must be handed to the checkout cash counter or website before payment or if the customer is using Carrefour Web store www.carrefourjordan.com , the MyCLUB loyalty account number must be entered once for all.
The Customer can also earn further points when making purchases of goods through different promotions/offers, or received coupons that can be used against any future purchases, and subject to points and quantities limitation per offer/promotion.
Article 5 – Redeeming
When the cardholder accumulates 100 points, the digital cardholder will automatically receive a 10JOD loyalty E-voucher at the checkout in store. A maximum of 5 discounts can be generated at a time. This 10JOD loyalty E-voucher can be used against the digital cardholder’s next purchase in participating Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores in the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan and on the Carrefour Web store www.carrefourjordan.com for an amount greater or equal to 10 JOD by representing the E-voucher along with the loyalty digital card and within the expiry date specified on the loyalty E-voucher.
In the case of technical problems at generating of the 10JOD loyalty E-voucher, the E-Voucher will be automatically generated at the time of next purchase after a period of Maximum 24 hours. The digital cardholder could also ask the customer service to help.
The 10JOD loyalty E-voucher is nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given. Each 10JOD loyalty E-voucher is linked to the loyalty account which has received it and can’t be used by another loyalty account. The maximum E-voucher issued on the mobile app is 5 at one time, once E-voucher is used it will be replaced by another if any.
Article 6 – Loyalty account information
Once the customer has done the registration through the mobile application or the website, the digital cardholder can access his/her loyalty account information:
- At the customer service desk or by calling the customer service.
- On each receipt: information of previous and new points balance, points earned, 10JOD loyalty E-voucher redeemed and awaiting collection.
- On his/her personal loyalty space at www.carrefourjordan.com/myclub, the digital cardholder can modify his/her personal details anytime. The digital cardholder can modify his/her personal details anytime via the following: - At the customer service desk or On his personal space at www.carrefourjordan.com/myclub
Article 7 – Claim and item refund
In case of a digital cardholder contesting missing points, 10JOD loyalty E-vouchers, points balance, the digital cardholder has seven days to formulate his claim to concerned store or to the customer call center.
In case of an item being refunded, the points earned from this item will be deducted from the loyalty account. If the loyalty account does not have sufficient number of points to deduct from the account, the missing points number multiplied by the point value in JOD (0.10 piasters) or as per defined prior will be deducted from the item refund.
Article 8 – Accessibility Problem of Account
The digital cardholder is responsible for any incapability to access of his loyalty digital cards and must immediately inform the store if this occurs.
MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C. declines any responsibility during the period between the incapability to access and the declaration of inability to access by the digital cardholder.
Any points accrued on the period of inaccessibility for loyalty digital card at the time of the declaration will be transferred to the new loyalty account.
Article 9 – Removal
MyCLUB loyalty digital card is the property of MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C. and can be immediately suspended or terminated at the sole discretion of MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C at any time if, a Digital card Member:
- has breached these terms and conditions;
- has behaved fraudulently;
has supplied false or misleading information to MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C; or In this case the digital cardholder will lose all the acquired benefits and any right of use.
If the MyCLUB loyalty digital card is not used during a continuous period of 12 months, MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C. will disable the loyalty account and the digital cardholder will lose all the acquired benefits and will not be able to use his/her MyCLUB loyalty digital card anymore.
If a digital cardholder wishes to close his/her account, he/she could inform with a written notification stipulating his/her demand, his/her name, last name, loyalty account number and signature.
If any digital cardholder claims back his points after disabling his/her digital card; Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets can still return him/her these points by transferring them to his/her new account.
Article 10 – Responsibility
MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C. is exempted from any responsibility for any direct or indirect consequences linked to any malfunction; nevertheless it will do the best to keep all the digital cardholder’s acquired benefits.
MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C. is exempted from any responsibility for any direct or indirect consequences linked to any fraudulent use or non-accordance use with these terms and conditions.
Article 11 – Terms and conditions modification or cancelation
MAJID AL FUTTAIM HYPERMARKETS L.L.C. reserves the right to modify or cancel some or all of these terms and conditions.
Article 12- General
These terms and any disputes or claims arising out of, or in connection with, its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan.
